Competiton Terms and Conditions

  1. Start/End date: 12/09/22 9:00am –12/11/22 17:00pm.
  2. Promotion Description: The Johnson Reed big World Cup Sweepstake (\”Sweepstakes\”).
  3. Eligibility: Open to residents in the United Kingdom who are 18+ years old. One entry per company.
  4. How to enter: Entry into the competition is through having a finance deal with Johnson Reed accepted for pay out within the start and end date of the competition. If a supplier passes Johnson Reed a lead that gets approved within the competition dates then an entry will be confirmed.
  5. Grand prize: £1000 cash prize to the recipient of the winning nation of the 2022 Qatar World cup.
  6. Additional prizes: £400 to the recipient of the runner-up of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, £250 to the recipient of the nation who represent the golden boot winner at the end of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, £150 to the recipient of the nation who scores the fastest goal in the group stages, £100 to the recipient of the nation who are concede the most goals in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, £100 to the recipient of the nation who are on the receiving end of the heaviest defeat of a single game (based on goal difference) in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
  7. Event of a tie (Golden Boot): In the event that the golden boot is won by more than one player at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the next action will compare the amount of assists all players who tied for the golden boot registered. The player with the most amount of assists out of the tied golden boot winners will then win the £250 prize pool. If there is more than one player tied with the most goals in the tournament and the same amount of assists, then the prize will be split equally between all recipients of a nation representing players who have tied for the golden boot award of the tournament.
  8. Event of a tie (Heaviest Defeat): In the event that more than one team has the worst goal difference in a single game at the tournament, the next action will be to compare how many goals the teams conceded in the game they received the lowest goal difference, with the team conceding the most goals in their game being declared the winner of this prize. For example, if two teams were on the receiving end of a defeat which resulted in a goal difference of “-5”, but team A lost “6-1” and team B lost “7-2” then the recipient of team B would win the prize money. In the event that the goals conceded figure is also the exact same, then the prize pool of £100 will be split between all teams with the equalled worst goal difference in a single game AND equal most goals conceded in that same game.
  9. Event of a tie (Most cards received at the tournament): In the event that two or more teams accumulate the most cards received at the tournament, the next action will be to compare the amount of specifically red cards received at the tournament. The team with the the most red cards received will then win the prize money. If there are still two or more teams with the same amount of yellow and red cards respectively, then the prize pool of £100 will be split equally between these teams.
  10. The draw: The draw for the sweepstake will take place on the 14th of November, with an email going out on the 15th of November to all participants confirming which team they have been drawn. The draw will be randomly generated through a website application.
  11. Winner notification: With the World Cup final taking place on the Sunday 18th December, communication to all winners of prizes will be sent out the following day on Monday 19th December.
  12. Prize pay-out: The prize money will be paid out to winners on or before the 23rd of December. Any winner notification not responded to or returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Johnson Reed.
  13. Privacy: Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policy of Johnson Reed posted at https://jr.vatu.dev/privacy-policy. By entering the Sweepstake, you grant Johnson Reed permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the other Sweepstake Entities for the purpose of administration and prize fulfilment.
  14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Johnson Reed assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstake; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstake; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstake or download of any materials in the Sweepstake.

     

    If, for any reason, the Sweepstake is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstake, Johnson Reed reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstake in whole or in part. In such event, Johnson Reed shall immediately suspend all drawings and prize awards, and Sponsor reserves the right to award any remaining prizes (up to the total ARV as set forth in these Official Rules) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Johnson Reed.
