We love the diversity of businesses that we get involved with at Johnson Reed. So when we discovered Manchester’s Play Factore, we added another venue to our wish list of soft play centres that have sprung up around the country, thinking, why didn’t places like this exist when we were young?
Dubbed the ‘eighth wonder of the world’, Play Factore indoor adventure playground is newly opened, situated next to the Trafford Centre, off the M60 and underneath the Chill Factore. It claims to be the UK’s largest play centre and boasts the tallest indoor play frame in the world at over 15 metres high, and an astra slide that stretches over a length of 40 metres.
With a laser tag arena and electric go karts, as well as four party rooms decked out in fun themes to set up, Play Factore owner, Fawad Munir, needed a hefty soft play finance deal to be able to install this market-leading equipment. By coming to Johnson Reed, it meant he could open this, his second venture in the Northwest, without approaching any banks. And, because of the sheer size of the project, he needed to make last minute changes to his plans. That was no problem for us because we’re specialists in this sector, and we know how our flexibility can help clients get exactly what they want to turn their dreams into reality.
Meanwhile, we’ll just carry on dreaming about how much fun we could have had if play centres like this had been around when we were kids.
