Business partners Latif Dal and Rick Gwilliam put together a comprehensive plan that runs through the details of why their new start Play Centre will be a success – these chaps have done their homework!

When they requested some assistance it was an easy decision for Johnson Reed. Located in a village with small competition and massive opportunity, they negotiated good terms with the landlord of up to 6 months free rent for a 8,000 sqft. unit, with a 15 year lease in a key location in town next to Tesco and the main train station.

Their 130 children capacity play centre has parking for 33 spaces, but based in the heart of the town centre they also have other parking available too.

This application was very straightforward for Johnson Reed to provide assistance with soft play funding. £60,000 worth of equipment leasing was secured to get these determined gents open and trading, and they have already been back in touch to extend their facilities for their clients further with laser play.

Mr Dal said:

No bank money was used once myself and Rick contacted Johnson Reed. The process was simple we leased all the kit and our cash was used of the development and building improvements.

Whilst their only weak link in the plan was no child care experience, they reassured Johnson Reed that with the business experience and ability to employ the right staff/manager, the business will be a success.
