Situated in the heart of Liverpool, Blackburne House Education Centre for Women is a unique institution that has been pioneering training for women in non-traditional areas of work for over thirty years.

This magnificent Grade 2 listed building also hosts an accredited conference centre and an award winning café bar that serves locally sourced food.

Blackburne House wanted to prove its commitment to quality by bringing the Café bar up-to-date with a new counter and kitchen technology to help with increased customer demand and to improving efficiency.

They hired Merseyside’s Counterline Ltd to provide the food service equipment needed to improve the facilities. Knowing this project needed to be completed in a timely manner Counterline recommended us to finance this upgrade.

Blackburn House wanted a simple deal with simple paperwork and at Johnson Reed we were happy to finance them £15,000 for the new equipment. This allowed them to know exactly how much they would need to budget over three year period and made sure the project was completed on time.

The upgrade went perfectly and we are happy to say that Blackburne House Education Centre is continuing to provide an excellent dining experience for its staff and students.
