It was great to see so many familiar faces, as well as some new ones, at the first ever virtual ENSE Conference on 21st-23rd September. Undoubtedly a new experience for us all, and one that we can all take positives from, not least the fact that we can all now consider ourselves competent ‘Zoom-ers’. It’s fair to say the experiences of the last six months have been devastating for us all. On a personal note, it was great to see the fighting spirit and resilience show.

From our conversations it was clear that businesses have adapted to change, and I know how hard it is, I understand and I am glad that suppliers could share their journey with me as I did with them.

For our businesses, suppliers and clients, we can take comfort in the fact that this situation is out of our control, it has affected every business in one way or another, and we are there to help along the way.

I’ve got a few different ideas and have been working tirelessly in the background to create help and support for suppliers to get back on track.

Since the outbreak my marketing team and I have been working to create support, as I firmly believe that accessibility to funding will be inevitable for your clients, as we and they begin to recover and expand.

We have developed a suite of marketing support such as promotional flyers, email marketing, website support, payment calculators, as well as continuous news and advice pieces for ENSE members to benefit from and share with their clients.

Again, I would like to thank Bob and the team at ENSE for everything they did and their hard work that brought the event together. as I’m sure everyone will agree, it was an amazing experience and being brought together to talk positively about how collectively we can motivate each other and overcome the challenges ahead, we can do it.
