Once home to William Deacon’s Bank, the iconic Bridgeway house in Cheadle Hulme now contains a modern co-working hive. MYHQ is a hireable office space that hosts 52 working spaces featuring 29 desks & 4 private office spaces. The hireable office provides not only 2 or 3 day flexible hire but also fixed-desk tenancy on a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month basis, if you plan on frequent use of the space. As well as their workspace, MYHQ host a rooftop bar within “The heist”, their function room, which is where JR were able to assist with some equipment leasing.

Director Nick had the vision of bringing Manhattan to Manchester, by adapting a retro-futuristic steampunk design for the office space. Nick approached JR as he wanted some assistance with implementing a retractable roof for MYHQ’s terrace bar within their function area to cater for the unpredictable Manchester weather!

One of the main things that convinced Nick to utilise equipment leasing options was the ability to avoid a singular upfront payment. Specifically, Nick pointed out how beneficial it was to his business plan and how it “made it stronger by allowing us to spread more cash across the business initially, then use the asset finance on top of that through careful planning”, also adding “the element of tax relief was also rather attractive to us!”
