Found in Sutterton, Southern Lincolnshire, is a motor-themed family smoke house diner. V-Ate Pit Stop offers a vehicle-themed eatery with American menu options including burgers, hot dogs and ribs. What makes V-Ate so unique is its creation of a petrolhead’s dream giving guests the opportunity to sit around automotive-themed tables and chairs. The decor of the restaurant gives a proper motor feel to it with iconic road signs including the New York Interstate and the infamous Route 66, along with big name vehicle brands logos from all over the world on the walls pretty much everywhere you look!
The problem V-Ate had was with their family demographic and rising amount of visitors, they wanted to enhance the experience for guests and add a fun activity that all can take part in. They decided to take it up a gear with the installation of a bowling alley to add another element to a visit to the diner. This would be in the hope to attract even more customers to the site, whilst giving guests a reason to stay longer and take part in the additional activities, making it an all-round family fun day out.
V-Ate had a false start in regards to their opening as the unfortunate timing of the pandemic meant they had to close after just two months of operating. They later reopened in June 2020 and have been speeding ahead ever since. After speaking to owners Victoria and Neil, it was clear that cash flow and the marketing budget was paramount to maintain as they have plans to go big on promotion of the new launch. This exact reason is why they came to JR. We were able to secure a lease agreement for the new bowling alley install meaning V-Ate could let their continued success pay for their new project, without eating into their existing cash!
JR look forward to seeing the continued success of V-Ate Pit Stop Diner and you can find more information about them here: https://www.v-ate.com/site/.
