Established in 2008, Make Ur Move launched as an online letting agent, managing thousands of residential properties for landlords all over the UK. The award-winning business has been inundated with fantastic reviews from landlords, and tenants alike, working with all parties to ensure a seamless process. The efficient team of ten were previously operating from a serviced office space in central Manchester, and have recently relocated to a permanent leased premises in a similarly central location.
The new premises on Booth Street gave MakeUrMove a blank canvas to truly put their own stamp on. They enlisted the services of Manchester-based Spatial Office Environments, who designed and implemented the contemporary new office fit out.
Jamie at Johnson Reed worked closely with MakeUrMove and Spatial throughout the process, facilitating the finance and working seamlessly to the project’s tight deadlines. Through a tax-efficient lease, finance was secured for several integral elements of the fit out, including the furniture, flooring, cabling and demountable partitions. This allowed MakeUrMove to afford the quality fit out they required without dipping into capital expenditure to cover the costs.
Alexandra Hargreaves as Head of Operations oversaw the project after spending 4 months finding the right space; “We are very pleased with the office space, our staff have settled in very well and are enjoying their new environment. Jennie and Paul from Spatial worked very hard to get everything ready for our move in and Jamie was extremely efficient in arranging the finance under a tight deadline.
MakeUrMove have recently relaunched their website to provide a refresh of the brand and fully responsive site. With plans to further develop the lettings services and website and grow the business to challenge for a larger market share nationally it was imperative that we were able to protect our capital and financing was a great option to do this.”
