If you have 720 inquisitive young minds, every one keen to know all there is to know about computers, you need to make sure you have all the latest technology. Even children at primary school age have the nous these days to decide whether or not the kit is up to scratch.
We were introduced to Newall Green Primary School (NGPS) through our partner suppliers, Apex Computing. NGPS is a community school for children aged 3 to 11 years, on a very attractive site in the Wythenshawe district of Manchester. It’s a large school by primary school standards, with approximately 720 students. The school was in need of an update in its ICT and media centre, so called upon us to provide a three-year IT equipment leasing deal for fifty new Dell PCs.
Apex Computing, who carried out the installation, are also based in Manchester and are proud of their comprehensive range of IT services, as well as their ability to monitor projects and tailor their backup support services. Their personal approach means that the school now gets the full benefit of their IT services, which leaves the staff to get on with the important job of teaching children rather than worrying about elderly computers breaking down.
Sarah Rudd, the Head Teacher at NGPS, said of the scheme:
Before we learnt about Johnson Reed, our IT equipment was showing its age. They provided a really fast turnaround when they funded our new computers. The fixed payment arrangement meant it was easy to work into my budgets, and we are really pleased with our much-improved facilities.
