In the past couple of weeks directors here at Johnson Reed have met and had talks with the directors of a League 2 football club about securing financing for expansion.
While we can’t discuss the details too much at this stage, we have been asked to help secure financing a new community-led leisure complex at the football ground, which will include a brand new state-of-the-art gym, soft play area, sports rehabilitation center and cafe.
Due to open in Q1 of 2012, Johnson Reed have been involved in the funding of all the above equipment through our panel of specialist lenders.
The Community Trust will be located within the back of the stand, and also has the space to rent units to community based projects. There have already been a few charities interested in taking space in the new area.
