Jungle Versatile Indoor Play (Jungle V.I.P) is an established soft play centre, based in Hounslow, Middlesex. Since opening its doors in 2014, the play centre has accommodated a growing range of activities to cater for its varied audience. We catch up with Director, Evana, to discuss the family business, alternative finance options and the latest addition to the site- Jungle Laser!
What made you want to set up a soft play business?
When looking for activities for our own children, we were surprised to find how limited our options were. We began brainstorming the ideal place to take our children and before we knew it we’d secured Jungle V.I.P! Our jungle haven is the perfect home away from home, providing a pleasant atmosphere for parents, carers, and of course, children, to enjoy.
How are you unique to the rest of the market?
We believe in good old-fashioned customer service – offering families a personal service unique to Jungle V.I.P. The majority of our regulars will know who we all are, usually by our first names! Our ethos is to offer parents and carers a place they can feel at home and know their children are safe and having fun.
We offer parent-child interactive classes, like arts and crafts, music classes and rhymetime, as well as parties and events at Halloween, Christmas and in summer. All of these activities are additional to the indoor play-frame itself, and are often at no extra cost.
In addition, we recognise the importance of change, and upgrade and envision to constantly add to our play centre, hence this year the introduction of Jungle Laser!
Why did you opt for alternative finance options to acquire the laser guns?
The lease agreement allows us to make great tax savings throughout the term, reducing the overall cost of the purchase. We can budget accurately and well in advance thanks to the fixed repayment structure, and everything was agreed in advance so we know exactly what to expect.
